back and at it

i was unfortunately unable to add live to my blog whilst in china, as the lovely chinese government blocked my blog (and all other blogs on this and many other sites…)

i did however keep a pretty comprehensive diary of the trip on paper, and a sh*t load of photos, currently on face book, which i will try to gradually transfere to here, and write the condensed version of our interesting trip.

off to china!

just a quick one before i go…. which should have been about 10 mins ago…

very excited t be off to china and very happy to have successfully acquired my visa this morning. ahh cutting it fine is my specialty.

will get around to writing about austria last weekend, which was fantastic and snowy. lots of wood cabin/barn study and a hearty dose of the zumthor retrospective exhibition for inspiration.

but now off i go,

i have laptop with newly installed vray to learn and microstation and GC…. i also have high hopes for getting to the north west of Yunnan province after the workshops are over and exploring the timber architecture and tibetan cultures of those very cool mountain people.
